You know there is a perception out there, that if you don’t use chemical cleaning products, that your home wont ‘smell’ clean. Well, that doesn’t have to be the case. to use oil of clove on your bathroom tiles (it makes me crave apple crumble).

Lavender oil, Eucalyptus oil, and even Tea Tree oil are great additions to the water when washing a floor. Also a great idea to mix with water in a spray bottle to use as a spray and wipe.

Remember to consider your health when choosing your cleaning products, especially if it is something that you do for a living. There are also some fantastic cloths available at the larger stores, such as Big W or K Mart, in the car section, which are so good to use with spray water to give all glass and mirrors that perfect finish without smears.

Tea Tree oil is also a great deterrent for ants.

Please be aware of watering down your essential oils in spray bottles. and always wipe any residue, as if left on surfaces, damage can occur.
